If you smoke marijuana frequently, you must also own a grinder. Now, how clean is your grinder? Do you remove the residue often? Is your grinder working at its best efficiency?

Don’t worry, we aren’t here to judge your grinder or your cleanliness. All we want is for you to have the best smoking experience. And that is only possible if you keep your grinder clean. However, if cleaning seems a hassle for you then we have some tricks that might help.

3 Ways to Clean Your Grinder

A grinder or any other smoking accessory works best when it is kept clean. Hence, follow the given ways to clean your grinder.

  1. Put it in a freezer

This is probably the easiest way to clean a grinder. Disassemble your grinder and put it in a freezer. Now wait for about 30 minutes or an hour before taking it out. The freezer will freeze and harden the residue inside the grinder parts.

Now, remove the parts and place them on a flat surface. Firstly, try tapping them on the surface. This will remove all the big chunks from the vessel. Later, you can use a toothpick or a needle to scrape off the chunks that don’t come out easily.

  1. Use rubbing alcohol for metal grinders

Rubbing alcohol, also known as isopropyl alcohol is the best cleaning agent for smoking accessories. All you need to do is pour some rubbing alcohol into a resealable zipper bag, submerge the grinder inside, and add some salt.

Now, close the zipper and shake the bag for some time. This will allow the alcohol and salt to remove the residue. However, if some bits remain, use a soft toothbrush to remove them.

  1. Use boiling water and soap

Let’s go old school and place the grinder parts in a pot of water. Now, put the pot on flame and allow the water to boil. It will take about 7 to 10 minutes for the process.

After this, remove the grinder parts from the water and allow them to come to room temperature. Now, use a soft toothbrush or Q-tip to scrape off the remaining residue. Note, this process is only for acrylic or plastic grinders.

Use these processes and keep your grinder clean. However, if the grinder does not seem to clean fully, maybe it’s time to buy a new one. You can visit Mr. Puff in Katy, Texas for a wide range of weed grinders. Contact us now for more information.
